March – Museum of Brands Begins


While my search for work was not as successful as I would have hoped, I was able to start a new project towards the end of March — a documentary for the Museum of Brands. This came through a connection from the university, and I was brought on to handle the filming and eventually the editing as well.

The work involved shooting interviews and B-roll, and I was able to do this with equipment I was familiar with already. It was refreshing to finally be doing something hands-on again after so much time just applying to jobs and waiting around.

That said, the project was not without its own set of challenges. The interviews, while done well, suffered from a lack of clear structure which made editing them together a bit tricky. Despite the rough start, I was just glad to be out filming again instead of constantly job hunting.
